We have brothers in leadership positions in many clubs and organizations around Winthrop, including president of IFC (Spring 2016.
We have the highest overall fraternity GPA on campus (as of Fall 2016)
We came first place in the Spring 2016 greek week with Tri Sigma
We came first place in intermural sports (Spring 2016)
How to Join:
Step 1: Show your interest in joining, and we will show ours.
The best way to do this is to come out to our events! Aside from events, we are always around on campus, especially in DIGs. Come say hi and hang out with us. If we can see you being a good additition to our brotherhood, we might just give you a bid.
Step 2: Participate in our New Member Process (AKA Associate Process)
As an associate member, you will learn a great deal of information regarding our national and local organization while also building a strong bond with your fellow associate members as well as the current active brothers of the chapter. This process will build you into a stronger leader and allow you to becoming a full, functioning brother of Pi Kappa Phi.
Step 3: Get to Initiation!
Many brothers have endured the new member process, and some have not. Everything you do during your new member process is noticable to all brothers. The only way to become a brother of Pi Kappa Phi is to get initiated, and the ones who lead you to initiation are the Warden and Same Chair. With that being said, it is wise to take full advantage of the associate process as the Warden and Same Chair only let those who show passion and high hopes for the fraternity to be initiated.
Tips:
Pi Kappa Phi is a fraternity, not a frat
We will not accept anyone who represents us negatively
We do not haze. It is not only a Winthrop University rule, but also a Pi Kappa Phi law to not haze.
